Why I think Bernie Sanders is our best option

I want to say that this is not a statement on his policies or what he plans to do if he does win because not every one agrees with them whether you are a republican or democrat ,  just a simple analysis on who he is and how he is running for president. The four topics that make me think this are his past actions, who he is focusing on for his political statements, how he is paying for his campaign and his stance on war (which is kind of a political opinion). Back in the 60's he was an active member of the civil rights movement he was "preaching" to his fellow college students about equal rights. This tells me that he actually backs up his statements and beliefs with actions and just doesn't say things to win popularity or votes. Next, his focus is the majority of the U.S. population or the upper middle class and below. This tells me that he has most of America as a population worried for. He also has a way with the youth despite being older than dirt.  The third thing to mention and his biggest feature as a candidate is that he stands against PACs (Political Action Committee) or any big companies supporting candidates. Sanders is even running his campaign though his own pocket and financial support from his citizen supporters and no company. He does this because the person who wins the presidency should be some one that earns it and deserves it, not someone that had it payed for. This also keeps companies out of the influences of our political issues. His last issue is his stance on war. On pretty much every issue involving the current wars he has opposed them. However he has supported veteran and veteran support programs stating that if you are not prepared top take care of the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend this country – who came back wounded in body, wounded in spirit – if you’re not prepared to help those people, then don’t send them to war in the first place.
