Some of the skills that I want when I leave Defiance are better communication skills, self management skills, critical thinking, decision making skills and leadership skills. All of these things are critical to becoming a functioning adult in the near future. 

For communication skill, both written and oral communication skills are needed,  Need to take time to enunciate and be articulate. I also need to be more vocal and say what I'm thinking, instead of remaining silent.

For self management skills, I need to see the big picture and break it down into small, manageable pieces. So I need to white down what I want to do and manage my time better.

For critical thinking I need to be able to better evaluate that information, sort the useful from the trivial, and judge its meaning.

For decision-making  I need to know what to do based on the information available. I can struggle at times making decisions  because I wont think everything through or I will over  think the situation.

Lastly leadership is something that I need to work on the most. this problem stems from all of these issues above. I never want to take the lead on anything because of doubting of my self because of these issues. I don't want to be blamed if I'm wrong so I don't take the chance
